Sophisticats is a South-East Queensland based, all-breeds cat club, created in November 2002 by a group of people  who believe showing cats should be fun and want to put that fun back into showing, whether they are Pedigree or Domestic cats.

Although not a large club, we believe we have quality members with a common aim and code of ethics regarding the health and well-being of all cats and that EVERY Cat club affiliated with any Cat Council should have an equal say on how the council is run.

We will be conducting a Championship All-Breeds Cat Show once a year under the rules of the Queensland Feline Association Inc. (QFA Inc), our Queensland Cat Council which is affiliated with the Australian Cat Federation Inc (ACF), our National body.

      In 2007, we ran an extra show on Sunday, 25 Feb 07, titled                      "3's Company".  This was a Group 3 only show.  For an overview of how the show went, please go to the 3's Company page

Our 2007 Annual show was reluctantly cancelled at late notice due to matters pertaining to our affiliation with another council at that time.

We will be holding our 2008 Annual show on 20 April 08 at the Lawnton Showgrounds.
